This is new anklet, made of German silver, traced back to old Afghan Kochi culture, and originated in Afghanistan. Such type of ornaments are also called Payal, Payaliya and Pazaib. The anklet is made of match-stick like objects, which are then connected by strong thread. Indian dancers use such anklets while performing old Kathak or Attan dance. Many dancers at Egypt also like to wear on the anklets while performing traditional tribal style belly dance performance.
